Koncert
Mazolewski / Dorociński – Witkacy. Astronomical Compositions
Event Description
Final Concert of the 30th Kontakt International Theatre Festival
Mazolewski / Dorociński: Witkacy. Astronomical Compositions is a project combining jazz, literature and acting interpretation.
Mazolewski’s original music and Marcin Dorociński’s expressive interpretations exist somewhere between a concert and a theatre performance. It is a proposal for audiences interested in unexpected stage forms.
The project is inspired by texts by Stanisław Ignacy Witkiewicz, known as Witkacy, adapted by Agnieszka Wolny-Hamkało. In this new, contemporary version, they gain a musical and performative dimension.
The music will be performed live by the jazz ensemble Wojtek Mazolewski Quintet.
