Years after the war that was meant to end it all, a family lives in hiding, deep in the forest. They have created their own rules, their own rituals and their own illusion of safety, far from the country that once turned its back on them. But history does not disappear. It returns, uninvited. When the outside world breaks into their reality, it brings not only curiosity, but also an offer: the promise of recognition, belonging and power.
What follows becomes a dangerous game between memory and ambition. Who has the right to rewrite the past? Who benefits from reconciliation? And what does it actually mean when a nation that once erased you suddenly wants to reclaim you, but on its own terms?
Unsettling and politically uncompromising, the play exposes the appearance of remorse, the seductive power of visibility and the price paid for becoming a symbol in someone else’s story.
